Secured Lending

We routinely provide counsel on, and oversee, the completion of secured loan transactions for our clients in respect to acquisition and project financings. Our experience includes advising both lenders and borrowers in relation to commercial mortgage loans and development and construction financing. This advice extends to syndicated loans, second priority loans and collateral mortgages. We appreciate that each of the lender, owner, investor and developer may have different focus points in the lending transaction and we manage the interests of the parties involved to complete the financing as and when required by our client.

Rogers & Company has represented clients for secured financings in a variety of ownership interests including fee simple, condominiums, strata titles and leasehold financing such as long term ground lease financing. We are experienced with secured financing in respect of an assortment of developments and project types including low rise residential, seniors’ homes, industrial developments, retail sites, hotels and office buildings.
