We advise on all aspects of our clients businesses from recommending the initial structure and organization of the business to completing the various corporate and commercial transactions needed as the business moves forward. We have extensive experience with corporate organizations and re-organizations, co-ownership arrangements, partnerships and joint-ventures as well as in negotiating and structuring the purchase and sale of shares of a business or business assets. We are able to draw on long standing relationships with external tax counsel to provide corporate tax planning advice when appropriate and as directed to do so by our clients.

We have a great deal of experience advising closely held and family-owned businesses and recognize the unique issues that arise in such businesses.

We also assist clients with routine corporate set-up and maintenance matters including incorporations, extra-provincial registration, corporate revivals, corporate name changes, maintaining corporate minute books including filing annual returns and acting as registered office for corporations.
